Trip Recap | Guatemala 2026

Day Eight: Saturday, March 28, 2026

Most of us are on our way home today. The week of clinics, surgery, PT, instrument processing & reprocessing, and rounds has come to a close. Because the travel time gives us a pause and opportunity for reflection, there is time to remember and consider what we’ve learned and how our perspectives have changed. 

We see more clearly how this trip and Team Hope in Motion’s mission are bigger than any one of us.  We know more deeply that stepping into our individual callings and roles gives us value and deeper purpose as we care for each other and the people in Guatemala. 

A special word of thanks to all of you who support Team Hope in Motion. Thank you for following, encouraging, and loving us so that we can serve in this way.  You are a vital part of the team that helps the team flourish.  Thank you for knowing us and loving us. Over the next few weeks and months, we hope to share more of our experience with each of you in person. Thank you for being a part of this story.
